Getting
the concept design correct is critical because it effects every
stage down the track.
The concept stage is also our greatest opportunity to explore
different design solutions and new ways of thinking.
Possibilites
You
may have some preconceived ideas of how your product should look
or be made, but what's really important is what it does.
We will examine as many ideas as we can and together we will decide
which ones are worth developing further. |

Freedom
Concept
design is usually a pretty free and creative process. We try not
to worry too much about the practicality restrictions, we just
concentrate on getting the best possible design solution for your
product.
Once
we have a concept design we then go through it with a fine comb,
examining any potential problem and redesigning where necessary.
By the end of the concept design we should know:
| |
what
the product will look like |
| |
how
it will work |
| |
how
many parts there are |
| |
how
it all goes together |
This
will set a stable foundation for the next stage of development.
